BikeLNK bike share celebrates 5 years on service in Lincoln! Checkout our awesome impact in the Capital City!
In April 2018 BikeLNK made its official debut in Lincoln. Since that time bike share has provided active, accessible, and sustainably-focused transportation to residents and visitors alike. It has been thrilling to see all that bike share has done to shape and impact our Lincoln community.
Our bikes have also been pretty busy these five years. In total, BikeLNK classic and pedal-assist bikes have supported:
- 178,000+ individual bike share trips
- 400,000+ estimated miles traveled
- 4,400,000+ ride time minutes
- 16,000,000+ estimated calories burned
These represent just a few of the measurable impacts bike share has had in Lincoln, and we look forward to seeing all that the future brings! Bikes are a powerful tool for health, wellness and empowerment.
