It’s Lincoln, NE's bikeshare system! Our acoustic and electric Bicycles are publicly available for unlimited use for a period of time, depending on your pass length.

You find a kiosk with bikes available, use the BCycle Application on your mobile device or your membership fob at the dock to release your desired bike, wait for the beeps and lights to unlock the bike, and enjoy the ride!

There are 21 stations throughout downtown Lincoln and on East Campus. Maps are on each kiosk, as well as on our website and the BCycle App.

Memberships are available for purchase via the BCycle App. You're provided with several options for pass length, and throughout your pass duration you're allowed unlimited 1-hour trips.

We advise you to call the local police department, along with our customer service line, to file a report and get assistance on the next steps in the process of bike theft recovery efforts. There are no integrated locks for the users on the bikes, strong personal locks for brief times the bike is unattended, are recommended.

In our fleet we have approximately 100 classic (acoustic) bikes and 25 Ebikes. Our team regularly balances the system, ensuring that the Ebikes are distributed evenly among our 21 stations. You can always check the Bcycle application to see where the Ebikes are located; they're identified with a small lightning bolt.

An electric pedal-assist bike is a bike that gives you a boost when you pedal! When you turn it on, the battery powered motor will assist you as you pedal up to 17mph.

Just press the power button on the left hand side of the handlebars right above the small screen! Once it’s on, the screen will show you how much charge is left on the battery and your speed once you start moving.

No, our bikes are electric-assist which means you still need to pedal! The electric-assist will help you up to 17mph, but after that you’re fully on your own!

No. All e-bike rides are included in our pass prices! All of our passes come with unlimited 1-hour trips. Keep your trip under 60 minutes to avoid any overage fees.

Yes, our electric pedal-assist bikes are allowed on the bike trails. Just like all of our bikes, it is illegal to ride them on the sidewalks in designated areas of the downtown business district per City of Lincoln Ordinance. Please follow all rules of the road when riding any of our bikes.

No. The unlimited trips for your passes are still 1 hour or less per trip. If you take a trip longer than 1 hour, you will be charged $6 per additional hour your bike is out of the system. Overage fees are non refundable.

Capital Cruiser and Visiting Voyager Passes charge overage fees 24 hours after your pass expires.

Monthly Memberships
There will be an initial charge for the membership fee at the time of registration and each following month if you sign up for auto-renew. Thereafter there will be a monthly charge for usage fees, if any, accrued during each month of the membership.

Yes! Just choose “Auto-Renewal” in the account preferences section of your personal page on our website.

Yes! Personal web pages remain “live” for 3 years after the lapse of membership.

Only one day memberships purchased at kiosks can be. All other memberships, online or at kiosks, must be purchased using separate credit cards.

Yes! Gift cards contain a promotional code that can be any amount the giver chooses. The person receiving the gift card then registers for the membership on our site, using the code included to offset the cost of membership of their choice. A credit card must still be used on file to secure the account in case of excess usage fees or other possible fees that may be incurred by the user. Contact info@bikeLNK.com for more information.

Go online to your personal page to suspend your card, or call Customer Service immediately so that we can suspend your card to prevent anyone else from using your card to gain access to a bicycle for which you are financially responsible for.

A replacement card will be provided for a nominal fee.

While waiting for your card, you can still check out bikes by using the credit card associated with your account membership.

Nebraska does not have a mandatory bike helmet law. However, the City of Lincoln strongly encourages the use of bike helmets helps to reduce injury. We strongly recommend helmets be worn while riding BikeLNK bicycles, but they are not required.

There are areas of downtown sidewalks that are off limits, via City Ordinance, to bicycles. See kiosk map, the app, or the website for more information.

Yes. Bicycles have the same rights and responsibilities as motorized vehicles to public right ways. Follow the rules and laws at all times.
